Indian and Pakistani Premiers will meet on the sidelines of the 16th SAARC Summit in Bhutan Thursday to discuss a wide range of issues but no concrete agenda was announced by either side.
Prime Minister Gilani and Prime Minister Singh are in Bhutan for a summit of South Asian leaders which focuses on climate change and regional trade.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Yusuf Raza Gillani who is in Thimpu today will urge other heads of states to devise a comprehensive strategy to boost regional trade.
Earlier today, the 16th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) conference opened in the capital city of Bhutan with the key theme “Towards a Green and Happy South Asia.”
Despite attendance by head of states, Indian and Pakistani media barely covered SAARC summit. Coverage has been limited to whether Indian and Pakistani Premiers will have bilateral meetings. Animosities between the two South Asian neighbors have dogged Saarc ever since its inception 25 years ago.
An editorial in Pakistan’s leading English language daily Dawn today states: “Although many do not admit to this major impediment to progress in regional cooperation, the fact is that India and Pakistan tend to dominate and influence multilateral developments in South Asia.”
Last meeting between Indian and Pakistani Prime Ministers in Egypt was fruitful – at least on paper. A joint statement that called for continuing of dialogue with interruption was hailed in Pakistan but denounced in India.
The two Prime Minister’s had agreed that terrorism – not each other’s country – is the main threat to each nation, and they will cooperate in fighting it. The joint statement said that “action on terror should not be linked to the composite dialogue process and these should not be bracketed” and that “terrorism is the main threat to both countries.”
In theory, at least, that should have allowed talks to resume regardless of what’s happening on the ground.
A minister level meeting in New York later last year did not deliver much and a secretary level meeting Delhi was merely an exercise without agenda.
There seems to be no concrete agenda again.

I was given admission in masters in public health in Pakistan but after 8 years of hand on experience in the primary health, seen very closely the secondary and tertiary health actual delivery I think I can talk life time on the health and education which caters to 80% of Pakistanis atleast in CM house papers [trust me schools in periphery of suburb of Lahore have not received items like desk chalk for last 25 years from any govt and similarly hospitals staff including medical officers a term originally health officer as in 1961 virtually same powers as chief executive of union council but were not given apart from that have not received any hands on practical experience on patients in latest patient care in latest tertiary hospital which should be atleast of 3 to 5 years for last 63 years . I am not going to talk about the remaining 20% of the population which requires the secondary or tertiary population which requires secondary or tertiary health care. They have no master trainers only on CPSP AND PMDC ,UHS files[every day now press exposes a drop of their blunders in ocean] UHS chancellor is facing charges of promoting private medical colleges[ we have now got munna bhai mbbs colleges even in cantt areas [courtesey daily jang like half doctors support managers who get doctor training from dispensers and call them chacha] so no wonder our interior minister does not know the ABC OF SECURITY his official files are being sold by sweeper at Rs 10 per kg [daily dawn] while another LT general is chairman cricket board ,rector university and a property dealer all in one . So is PMDC headed by ex GOC Lahore brother in law . For training of our national team in our national sport we now need a master foreign trainer and not a single one is willing to come thanks to 180 million people life and work attitude yet we like monkeys are talking about golf and F1 racing.the most bitter injustice we could do that for last 3 generation we have forgot to transfer our heritage we are now born muslims not forshipping muslims what to talk to religion creeping into our souls .That is why I took my 4 year old daughter to Cathedral on this Easter to see the harmony between various faiths and every Sunday on escapades to see various sights ,sounds of various cultures and classes which we are hell bend to destroy

Like mustansir hussain tarrar we donot need any more magicians because they have bled the most beautiful country in the world and there is very little blood left in it. Every five years we get support programmes ,previously councils or committees or adhoc policies of govt which are the cause of the problem rather than solution. The Pakistanis are today fighting for survival and that is why not in middle class definition, The worst which can come to me is Attock jail as to major akbar[case for defence was fought by ch aitzaaz ahsan] or the Lahore fort judicial murder as of Late Z A Bhutto for fighting against the very nemesis that he knowingly or unknowingly created. Following the example of the above I have made my peon Medical superindent of one of my health facility.for a country to survive we have to have an effective endorsing and self learning technocrats and they should fall in the definition of the middle class like in Surah noor verse no 30 because economics is the back bone as stated by the Holy Quran.
Seeing your enthusiasm in the work which you are doing, and likes of you which I see in my neighbour salman Akram raja who went to jail for a cause I feel this need that we have to fight and be it 8 acres of land in DHA which you are working for poor or Mr Anwaar ghani working in 10 maraba of DHA in land I feel compelled to write some solutions to our problems.[by working on improving crop yield ;per acre ,introducing modern technology and trying to live in harmony with nature] ,studying the human behaviour of our are of subcontinent .
[1] firstly instead of value added tax we should start a nuisance tax,i.e. taxation on the basis of the nuisance a person is creating be it in form of population explosion ,which is not contributing to national exchequer in form of planting trees, surplus crops or basic or to industry, rather relying on others be in form of civil servants or politicians or junta.[PLEASE KINDLY NOTE WE HAVE ZERO HARDWARE COMPUTER INDUSTRY , WE HAVE ZERO TELECOM INDUSTRY ,EVEN THERE IS NO WORTHWHILE MEDICAL BOOK WRITTEN BY PAKISTANI AUTHOR DESPITE 63 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE GO TO INTERNET FOR THAT] TEN YEARS WE KNOW LOST OUR KASHMIR CASE DUE TO OUR KARGIL ADVENTURE AND 1975 TO 2001 OUR AFGHAN INTERFERENCE only fulfill new economic dynasties which have been created by narcotrade ,human trade ,cartels severe economic corporate frauds at the cost of 99% Pakistanis just to create pseudo traders [trade is always bilateral other one is called smuggling ask the Pakistan tea association]because now Dr firdaus ashiq awan is in India celebrating a book keeper wedding. wasting medical seat apart from having done nothing for legislature activity .Just see in 2009 how many bills have passed and how many ordinances got approval in national assembly. This is the democracy ,just go to internet and see how many chaudhrys are in power .This is in direct contraindication to islam in which we can see in first 4 caliphs statesmanship s governed nation.
[2] Either you are part of the solution or problem .The problem which according to mustansir hussain tartar needs now [DANDA] because time is ticking very much or like hassan nisar we need an atom bomb for every 180 million Pakistanis.
[3] mediocrity breeds mediocrity ,every body can excel in something like you have laid the seed of children library by caring for AN IDP family whose head is bachelor graduated. It is for honest circumstance to decide the fate not by Malik Riaz and likes of him and not by forcing to get admissions into medical colleges on drains bedian road or forcing electric engineering abroad where your are employed as sales person.
[4] I fully endorse your method of educating the middle class by bringing the religions together towards a middle path and harmony with life so I have offered my services to you volunteering like I consider my hobby to work in morning which provided me to get an eye on each and every district of Pakistan and now as I have mentioned of each district I can work for hours and talk also for life time.
[5] According to Salman Akram raja [the advocate of mr mubasshir hassan in the NRO case] charity is OK in Pakistan but ADVOCACY is bad. It is perhaps the Aitchisonian or the spirits of potahaar which speaks in him.[ gujjar khan].
[6] I also like mr naeem bukhari whose father was also a medical practioneer but an honest one not the likes you find today on jail road or of infamous doctors hospital. Let doctors be their own masters.col ilahai baksh gave resignation the day when a major was appointed an administrator like today it is singer or a cricketer or babus or politicians. Mr naeem bukhari told recently that he was hero considered from feb 16th to march 2007 and he fully knew the consequences of writing the letter and no body has ever challenged the facts of that letter instead ,It has given humility to some of the nimrods of our time.
[7] the cm is going to inaugurate another phase of ring road in Lahore either not knowing that 16 people are killed in Lahore daily besides almost more than 3 lakh injuries which makes humans incapacitating in some sense yearly due to vehicular transport. We are not only thieves but also incompetent. They both deserve the same punishment in Islam. A small landless man has forced to stop illegal parking in front of his father house of illegal commercial activity of district nazim whose authority even the senior person dare not to challenge be in esteemed civil or business position or else. Follow the examples of Bagat singh and ghazi ilm deen shaheed and let our inner voice be our masters not what any else is dictating.

Every human can change life ,stop the absolute pessimistic attitude just go to cancer ward of any govt hospital and see a 7 year old suffering from cancer ,we are better than that child and gifted indeed in some qualities which we have to exploit ourselves because write now the govt is hell bend to convert the state into failure ,time is indeed running out. Stop giving charities rather empowering them and not looting their rights as mentioned in holy Quran and Sunnah.Just plant a fruit tree and take care of it for life time or in current circumstances fight for every single tree cut by any authority because they are all self created authorities of various clubs.
