By the grace of All Mighty Allah the founder of Pakistan Quaid e Azam is seen by every Pakistani as a hero. No room for controversy when you are a great man like Allama Iqbal.

Thanks for response Shakee. Neither Jinnah nor Iqbal are free of criticism and controversy.
“The idea of Pakistan was dead at its inception, when the majority of Muslims chose to stay back after partition, a truism reiterated in the creation of Bangladesh in 1971.”- Stephen Cohen quotes Altaf Hussain in his book ‘Jinnah’s unfulfilled vision: The Idea of Pakistan’

i don’t what you mean by the qoute from stephen cohen. Quaid e Azam’s vision was not fullfilled because Allah (SWT) took him away so soon after independence. He is beyond criticism and educated Pakistanis do not criticize hime.

Napoleon is accepted as a hero for his Napoleonic code but his expansionism through Europe gets him the title of a tyrant. If you look closely, both points of view contain truth. I could agree if you insist Altaf Hussain is not educated/ill-educated. Peace.

@allovertheplace: This is hilarious… almost like nonsensical. There are plenty of real issues to talk about and these guys are debating Gandhi vs. Bhagat Singh. They have too much time on their hand

most of the so called “heros” of his-story are male. men are known to have ver big egos and that is always their downfall. Gandhi Jinnah they all had serious flaws. the controversies are also all about ego. they are usually part of a political agenda.
