خوش ہوتے شور مچاتے تھے
سہ پہروں اور شاموں کي آوازوں ميں
ہم بھوک اور گرمي بھول کے گانے گاتے تھے
آج يہاں خاموشي ہے بچوں کا کوئي کھيل نہيں
اب کھيل ہے بندوقوں کا
اس کھيل ميں کوئي جيتا نہيں
سب جيتنے والے ہارے ہيں
ظالم آنے والے ہیں
